The Libyan Society of Dermatology, Cosmetology and Laser Therapy is an independent specialized scientific association with an officially recognized legal personality. It is one of the associations affiliated with the Libyan Authority for Scientific Research under the umbrella of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. It was established according to the decision of Mr. / Director General of the Libyan Authority for Scientific Research No. (903) of 2022 AD dated 11/16/2022 under the name (Libyan Society of Dermatology, Cosmetology and Laser Therapy)
Its Board of Directors was elected by the Scientific Associations Administration of the Libyan Authority for Scientific Research on 5/22/2023
It is a non-profit association that aims to develop the Libyan doctor and raise his scientific and academic level in the fields of dermatology, cosmetology and laser therapy and enhance his capabilities by activating specialized scientific and training programs, workshops and scientific days and improving their quality and quality and developing them and forming partnerships with similar associations that enable them to attract support for these activities to enhance their role and achieve their goals in order to fulfill their duties and face the challenges they face so that they can continue in the process of building the doctor and strengthening his capabilities and potentials and thus achieving his ambitions
The association has made great strides in its participation in many specialized local and international scientific conferences and has concluded many international agreements with its counterparts to activate its role and its constant keenness to achieve its goals according to its message and vision, as it has become an active participant through its continuous positive initiatives with its counterparts in other countries, which had a great impact on starting and increasing good communication between its members and their colleagues at home and abroad. The association has also placed great importance on the issues of medical education that serve the field of dermatology, cosmetics and laser treatment at the level of its priorities on its agenda. We hope that the association has contributed and participated effectively in improving and developing the performance of the Libyan doctor through what it has provided and presented in this short period of time in its life and that it will continue with that enthusiasm in support, giving and offering in order to raise the level of medical services in the relevant field throughout beloved Libya.
